Living Free from a Painful Past

Cradle My Heart Radio welcomes Dr. Jimmy Ray Lee on March 9

[UPDATE: podcast posted 3-10-14]

Our guest this week is Dr. Jimmy Ray Lee, founder and president emeritus of Turning Point Ministries, Inc. I met Dr. Lee while I was serving with Ruth Graham and Friends conferences. Those events began the healing process for some of the greatest issues people of faith are facing today: depression, addiction, pornography, domestic violence, divorce and yes, abortion. We were grateful to have Living Free in place providing after-care in many of the conference locations.

Dr. Lee’s organization is international in scope, presenting Living Free—a high impact video based training for churches which develops Christ-centered small groups that help people turn to God and His resources when dealing with life’s problems.

Living Free helps people overcome life-controlling issues through the Word of God, the Spirit of God and the people of God. This format may be especially helpful after abortion as we deal with the fallout– the same issues people face after other failures, mistakes and sin.

Dr. Lee will join us to focus on three areas:

  • overcoming a difficult past—moving past condemnation to godly character
  • addictions—what is really going on?
  • and building healthy relationships today—caring enough to confront

Jimmy Ray Lee is also the author of several books on spiritual growth and freedom in Christ including Understanding the Times and Knowing What to Do. Dr. Lee started the Chattanooga Teen Challenge and served as its president for three years and served as Nashville Teen Challenge Executive Director during its formative years.

Join us for hope and encouragement with our guest Jimmy Ray Lee on Cradle My Heart Radio March 9 at 9 pm ET.
