Cradle My Heart Radio welcomes Reggie Littlejohn 2-24-13 at 9 p ET
[UPDATE podcast posted 2-25-13]
Reggie Littlejohn is a name that should be on the lips of every feminist and women’s advocate around the world. She is a champion of women in China where the One Child Policy has led to violence, human rights violations including forced imprisonment and heartbreaking consequences in the lives of women forced to abort wanted children.
I’m shocked but not surprised that women who stand for reproductive justice (shorthand for “abortion on demand”) haven’t made her one of their champions as well. But that little word–wanted–means they turn a blind eye to the plight of women who are losing their lives in deplorable conditions. How can that be?
We’ll learn the details of how Reggie founded Women’s Rights Without Frontiers to combat the problem of forced abortion, infanticide and gendercide in China. Since then she has become an international voice for the voiceless and an expert witness at policy discussions in the US, Europe and elsewhere around the world.
Join us Sunday February 24 for Cradle My Heart Radio with Kim Ketola and Guest Reggie Littlejohn at 8 p CT/9 p ET.
