Millie Lace is a counselor and educator who is dedicated to helping prevent abortion and heal those who have chosen it. Her story of a medically-advised abortion shows that even therapeutic abortions are devastating and life-altering.

Millie’s work with The National Helpline for Abortion Recovery is a ministry of Concepts of Truth, Inc., Professional Counseling and Care Pregnancy center in Wynne, Arkansas. The National Helpline is a call center for those hurting after abortion. Concepts of Truth is a Christian, interdenominational, non-profit organization offering confidential 24/7 professional help. Founder Millie Lace, MSE, LPC, has volunteered and presented at the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women Conference in New York since 2005 and has served as president of the Arkansas Mental Health Counselor’s Association. She has also served as the state leader for Operation Outcry.

National Helpline trains professional and lay phone consultants who are passionate to help others heal after abortion because they too have experienced the pain but have also found God’s grace & forgiveness. Each has experienced healing from the silent shame, and dismantled the secrecy and isolation, grieved their losses and are empowered to help comfort others. II Cor. 1:3,4

The National Helpline for Abortion Recovery has received calls from all 50 states Canada, Puerto Rico, Germany and Guam.
